Finding low cost versions of many of these programs can be found on Ebay or Amazon, especially older editions. Just be sure your older edition is compatible with your computer.

Want to see how you would do if you had $100,000 to invest in the stock market, but don’t want to lose any money? That’s what Investopedia’s Stock Simulator lets you do, using real stats from Wall Street.
It’s a tremendous teaching tool, with graphs and information on the stocks you buy and more. Can be used by beginners, but offers challenges for the advanced. One of my teenage sons liked it so much he entered college with a finance/marketing major. He had never shown much interest in economics or the stock market before he played Investopedia, but really found he not only liked it, but had a real knack for it.
